At all of our 2017 regional meets:
|This will be our return visit to the site that welcomed 77 members from 15 states and provinces and boasted 65 tables at last year's spring meet. This location is right off I-91. Take exit 3 in Brattleboro and go 1/8th of a mile to US Route 5. Go south for a quarter mile and take a right at the first traffic light onto Black Mountain Rd. Enter the third driveway on the left for the VFW hall. We will be on the ground floor, with no stairs or grade to overcome to enter the hall. There will be plenty of parking within easy access to the hall entrance, and lodging available at the five hotels located within a mile of the meet. This hall site is located within 20 miles of the Vermont/Massachusetts state line, and one mile of the New Hampshire/Vermont state line. Local host Conrad Hughson can be reached with any questions at email@example.com, or (802) 387-4498. See you in Brattleboro!|
| ALPCA Colonial Region Summer Meet at Motorland LLC, 2564 Portland Rd (US Rt. 1), Arundel, ME 04046. The meet starts promptly at 8:00 AM and will have 60 plus tables available inside a facility designed to and currently storing antique and classic cars! There is also a classic car museum as well as the Dealership’s Show Room. Motorland will offer a reduced rate at the museum for registered members and guests. There will be plenty to see at this great location!|
Breakfast and lunch will be available (watch http://www.alpcacolonial.org for further details as they develop). Our summer meet will be close to Old Orchard Beach, two antique malls and a flea market (open Saturday and Sunday). Local lodging ranges from cottages to motels to B&Bs to Luxury hotels and there are many restaurants to choose from. It would be easy to build a Maine seacoast vacation around the Colonial Region Summer Meet (see our ad in Plates Magazine)!
To get to Motorland take Exit 32 off the Maine Turnpike (Interstate 95) onto the Biddeford Connector and continue straight for about 1 mile to US Rt. 1. Turn right (South) onto US Rt. 1 (which becomes Portland Rd). In approximately 1.5 miles Motorland will be on your right.
Registration is $7 for Member Walk-In; $15 for Member (One Table) and $20 for each additional table.

We hope to see you at Motorland on July 22nd!
|The Colonial Region invites you to return with us in Fall of 2017 to the same site that hosted our blockbuster meets for the past three years. The Sunday meet format has proven to be popular and well attended! The DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 99 Erdman Way, Leominster, Mass, boasts the largest hall space that we've ever had, at 7,800 square feet. With 100 tables, this means more plates, friends, and camaraderie than we have had under one roof at prior meet sites. Having had 100+ attendees at these Leominster Colonial Region meets, you will see friends that you may not have seen in years, meet new ones, and possibly have access to the most plates short of the annual convention. Start planning your display now, and enter it in our long standing competition for which awards will be presented in the following categories: Passenger, Non-passenger, Small Display (ten plates or fewer), Junior Display (entrant must be under 21 years of age), and Best of Show. Our donation auctions are always lively, and there is something there for everyone. Hall opens at 8:00 AM, and trading will be active until well into the afternoon. Walk-ins: $7.00. Walk in with one table: $15.00. Additional tables: $20.00 each. Please watch our region's web page for additional updates as the date draws closer - we will host a dinner event at the Longhorn Restaurant in Leominster at 7:00 PM on Saturday night for those traveling in, as well as locals that would like to join us. Lodging is available at the DoubleTree at the negotiated rate of $119.00 plus tax - please call 978-534-9000, ask for reservations, and ask to make a reservation under the group code ALP. The DoubleTree offers an indoor pool, restaurant, and bar all within the same facility. Questions? Contact Alan Young at email@example.com, or (781) 258-0363. Directions: Several major highways lead to Rte. 2 in Massachusetts. Heading west on Rte. 2, take exit 31 B and merge onto Rte. 12 north. Erdman Way is 1/8 mile ahead on right. From Rte. 2 east, take exit 31 and merge onto Rte. 12 north, Erdman way is 1/8 mile ahead on right. The DoubleTree is 1/4 mile ahead on Erdman Way, on the right. Plan now to visit New England and experience Massachusetts hospitality at its best. See you in November!
