There will be coffee and doughnuts available in the morning as well as pizza and soft drinks around midday.
We will have seventy (or more) tables available for all the members and guests we are anticipating (the count was just short of 140 members and guests last year ranging from New England to the southwest and back to the East Coast).

Directions:

From either Interstate 84 or 91 take the Rte. 9 Exit and continue on Rte. 71 to Veterans Drive (by Schaller Auto Dealership). For more detailed directions refer to a navigational device.

Additional information / local host:

If there are any updates concerning this meet we will post them on this site so check back here as the meet gets closer. You can also contact the host at: bob335sen@gmail.com.

RSVP in advance to let us know of your plans to attend:

We will again use the RSVP procedure so you can let us know you will be joining us and if you would like a table reservation.

Important: We will be limiting table reservations to two tables per reservation. If necessary we will reduce table reservation to one table if the available table quantity drops significantly so we recommend you RSVP with the link below.

As attendance has been increasing at our meets it is helpful to know in advance approximately how many members will be attending and how many tables will be needed. So, if you are coming to New Britain for our 2024 Winter meet please click the RSVP link below to inform us of your intentions and let us how many tables you would like. The information you provide will not be binding nor is it considered registration. Your suggested but voluntary response allows us to better plan for the meet and facilitate an on-site registration process that is as efficient as possible.
All ALPCA members are encouraged to join us in New Britain even if you have not responded to this inquiry. Our meets are only open to ALPCA members in good standing. Please assure that your membership has been renewed for 2024 before heading to New Britain, as we will accept new membership applications the day of the meet, but unable to take the time to process renewals.

Hours, entrance, and fees:

  • The hall opens at 8:00 AM sharp.
  • We will allow people to enter out of the cold in order to register and get their name tags prior to 8:00, but securing tables and bringing in plates will not be allowed until our 8:00 hall opening.
  • The parking area is level to the entrance for easy roll in of carts and hand trucks. Please do not park in the row marked for Veterans/Post Members only.
  • Fees are: $10.00 for Walk-ins with no table, and $15.00 with one table.
  • Additional tables: $20.00 each.

An important note concerning membership renewal:

Renewing your membership in ALPCA is a club related activity that must be carried out between the individual member and the ALPCA Secretary.
No Officer of your regional administration (The Colonial Region) has the ability, access nor authority to address or perform this action for you.

As you must be an active member with paid dues to attend any ALPCA Meet please ensure you have renewed your ALPCA Club dues in a timely manner so that you appear as paid in the membership roster on the ALPCA website on or before the date of our winter meet.

Questions or concerns on membership status and registration renewal must be addressed to the ALPCA Secretary at secretary@alpca.org.

Donation Auction:

Our donation auctions are always lively, and there is something there for everyone. Coordinated by Auction Manager Bob Senatro, and called by our auctioneers Joe Macera and Alan Young, our auction is planned for late morning. Our auctions feature everything from dollar plates to material for the advanced collectors. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Colonial Region and its events. Please consider donating a plate or plates, as these auctions make great meets possible.
If you wish to donate plates for the auction prior to the meet you may contact Bob Senatro at bob335sen@gmail.com.
